New Source of Relief for Westchester Businesses

Starting next week, Westchester small businesses and nonprofits will have a new option for securing COVID-19 relief funds. The Westchester County Office of Economic Development has announced a new $10 million grant program for the county’s businesses and nonprofits with 99 or fewer employees.

The Westchester County Business FIRST program will accept applications from September 21 at 10 a.m. through September 30, 2020 at midnight.

The grants of up to $49,000 each can be used to fund employee retention and support efforts, rent or mortgage payments, remote work technology, safety equipment, working capital and other expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
